NC State Rep. Leaves Democrats for GOP Citing Abuse from Party Members

A Democrat state rep in North Carolina has announced her switch to the Republican party, citing mistreatment and abuse by fellow Democrats.

Rep. Tricia Cotham’s (HD-112 – Mecklenberg) switch is pivotal as it “grants the GOP the outright legislative supermajority needed to override vetos from the governor’s office,” reports MyFox8.com.
