Fauci: ‘Everyone Agrees’ Covid Was ‘Not Engineered’ Into a ‘Bioweapon’

Former NIAID chief Dr. Anthony Fauci tried to dispel the all-but-certain conclusion that COVID-19 was engineered at a lab for bioweapon research.

Fauci appeared on “CNN Newsroom” on Saturday to push back against the growing consensus that COVID-19 leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“One of the things that maybe people don’t appreciate, is that all of the intelligence agencies agree unanimously that this was not engineered,” Fauci stressed to host Jim Acosta.

“Namely, they didn’t deliberately do this to make a bioweapon. Everybody agrees with that, no matter what your prior thoughts were, everybody agrees with that.”
