‘LET THE JAN. 6 PRISONERS GO’: Trump Calls for Politically Persecuted Jan. 6 Protesters to Be Freed Following Tucker Carlson Revelations
President Donald Trump on Tuesday called on politically persecuted January 6 protesters to be freed from prison after video released by Fox News host Tucker Carlson Monday appeared to exculpate them.
“LET THE JANUARY 6 PRISONERS GO,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Tuesday morning referring to demonstrators convicted by the federal government after protesting the stolen election at the US Capitol.
“THEY WERE CONVICTED, OR ARE AWAITING TRIAL, BASED ON A GIANT LIE, A RADICAL LEFT CON JOB. THANK YOU TO TUCKER CARLSON AND SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE KEVIN McCARTHY FOR WHAT YOU BOTH HAVE DONE. NEW VIDEO FOOTAGE IS IRREFUTABLE!!!”
Footage released on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Monday proved the Democrat-led House Committee investigating Jan. 6 together with the mainstream media withheld evidence from the public about what transpired in and around the Capitol building that day.
