Video: West Virginia Gov. Says Choosing Not To Take COVID Vaccine Is Akin To Entering A ‘Death Lottery’
West Virginia Governor Jim Justice declared Monday that anyone who chooses not to take the COVID vaccination is entering themselves into a “death lottery”.
During an interview with ABC’s Martha Radditz, Justice announced that his state will be giving away free gifts to those who take the shot.
He then used the lottery analogy to criticise those who choose to remain unvaccinated.
“You know, the red states probably have a lot of people that you know, are very, very conservative in their thinking, and they think, ‘Well, I don’t have to do that,’ but they’re not thinking right,” Justice proclaimed.
He continued, “When it really boils right down to it, they’re in a lottery to themselves. You know, we have a lottery, you know, that basically says, ‘if you’re vaccinated, we’re going to give you stuff.’ Well you’ve got another lottery going on, and it’s the death lottery.”
