Eugenics 101: Former UK Govt Advisor Says Nation’s Falling Birth Rates “Good For Planet”

A recent study revealed the number of babies being born in England and Wales in 2022 was the lowest level documented in two decades.
Britain’s Office for National Statistics released the data Thursday, showing live births were down 3.1% from 2021 to 2022 and were at the lowest number since 2002.
The statistics also found, “Almost a third of all those births were to non-UK-born women. This is the highest proportion of live births to non-UK-born women seen since our records began, with India now the most common country of birth for non-UK-born parents,” according to ONS Health Analysis head James Tucker.
While it’s alarming the country is failing to reproduce at the rate needed to maintain population levels, some left-wing overpopulation fearmongers are celebrating the news.
The Founder and director of the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, former UK government advisor Professor Sarah Harper CBE, told the Telegraph this week falling birth rates in the West were “good for… our planet.”
“I think it’s a good thing that the high-income, high-consuming countries of the world are reducing the number of children that they’re having. I’m quite positive about that,” the eugenicist said.
Perhaps revealing the true sinister agenda of the UK government and other globalist-controlled nations, Harper was awarded a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for her “services to demography,” which apparently included decreasing the number of citizens being born.
