Video: Mexican Cartel Fires Upon U.S. National Guard With Machine Guns From Across Border

Shocking video from the deteriorated U.S. southern border shows Mexican cartel members firing multiple rounds of bullets at National Guard posts in Texas.

Soldiers told Fox News reporter Bill Melugin that they have been taunted and fired upon in recent days by armed cartel members while standing across the Rio Grande as they facilitate human and drug trafficking operations.

“We witnessed automatic gunfire going from Mexico directly into the United States. The National Guard soldiers were were with, you can hear them kind of reacting, saying ‘whoa, holy ****,’” Melugin said of the scene in Roma, Texas.
