Wi Spa Transgender Turns Out To Be A Registered Sex Offender Facing Multiple Indecent Exposure Felonies
The transgender individual who sparked massive protests and public debate after they flaunted their male genitalia in front of women and underaged girls at Los Angeles’ Wi Spa has been found to be a registered sex offender.
Following an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, 52-year-old Darren Agee Merager was charged with indecent exposure in relation to the Wi Spa incident.
Showing this behavior could be a pattern, Merager is also facing multiple felony charges of indecent exposure in regards to a separate incident.
Four women and a minor girl who all came forward to file a complaint with the LAPD alleged Merager was “partially erect” while sitting in a hot tub in the spa’s women’s only section.
Predictably, Merager denies the accusation and claims to be the victim of transphobic harassment.
Despite a warrant out for his arrest as five felony counts of indecent exposure have been filed, Merager has not been arrested yet.
According to Andy Ngo of the New York Post, “Merager is a tier-one registered sex offender with two prior convictions of indecent exposure stemming from incidents in 2002 and 2003 in California. She declined to comment on the convictions. In 2008, she was convicted for failing to register as a sex offender.”
In fact, the transgender individual’s California criminal history includes nearly a dozen felony convictions for sexual crimes, burglary, escaping custody and more.
The Wi Spa incident sparked protests and violent clashes between Antifa/BLM groups and those who oppose Merager’s public indecency.
During a July broadcast of the War Room with Owen Shroyer, a woman named Tara Szcepanski described the Antifa assault outside the spa.
